 This is Ace, modeled after one of our five barn cats. Norton made his barn cats with their tails straight up in the air, which means they are happy cats. Ace stands 6'6" from tip of tail to the ground and is 5'10" from front to back.  This pansey is 24" across and stands in an old barn pasture. There are three other brightly colored pansies blooming on the grounds around the gallery.  "Chippy" stands 5' tall and is a popular carving in the gallery, especially with kids. It is one of Norton's favorite pieces. |
